CIRQUE SHOW

Healing through circus arts.

Grief is heavy. Sometimes, it feels impossible to put into words. Here, you don’t have to explain it—you just have to show up.

There’s something powerful about watching bodies move through grief— in the motions of others, we are invited to feel for ourselves. This show is an invitation to feel. To see your own journey reflected in movement. To unclench, to soften, to make space for what’s inside. To honestly express.

To honor Mental Health Awareness Month, Dr. Sherry partners with circus professional Lynn Lynn to create an original show exploring grief, healing, and resilience through circus arts. We are thrilled to announce a new show premiering in May 2025.

Movement as a Healing Practice

WORKSHOPS

Tell the story of your grief—in words, in motion, in connection.

In Touching Two Worlds, and in her TEDx talk, Dr. Sherry talks about joining the circus to ease the intensity of her traumatic grief. She launched Circus for the Brokenhearted to help others heal through movement. Workshops are offered a few times per year and are open to people of all levels and abilities.

Touching Two Worlds was born from loss. It became a movement of aliveness.

After losing her father to cancer and her brother to suicide within six months, psychologist Dr. Sherry Walling joined the circus and found healing through artistic movement. Touching Two Worlds is her invitation to you—to grieve and to celebrate aliveness.

You don’t have to move on

Grief is not brokenness—it’s love, still reaching, looking for expression.

At Touching Two Worlds, we make space for both loss and aliveness. We let our joys and our hurts shape our movements and our creative expression, and believe that our bodies hold what words cannot.

Heartache becomes the fuel for the art that we make.
